Oktoberfest at Hatchet Brewing Co.

Oktoberfest Celebration at the Growler

Come enjoy 5 German Biers on tap, American Fest Biers, food trucks serving brats, pretzels, and test your strength in a Stein holding contest. Prost!

Southern Pines Autumnfest
When:  October 5th, 9:00am - 4:00pm
Where:  Downtown Park, Southern Pines
Head to Downtown Southern Pines for the 45th Annual Autumnfest. There will be
lots of vendors, live music & entertainment, the annual 5k, youth sprint races, and
fair food galore!  

Halloween Rave
When:  Saturday, October 5th,  9:00pm-2:00am
Where:  Rec Room, 750 SW Broad Street, Southern Pines
Adults are invited to Rec Room for a Halloween Rave complete with 3 DJ's,
costume party, and contests. Halloween drink specials will also be available. 

Father Vincent Capodanno H.S. Octoberfest
When:  Saturday, October 5th, 4:00pm-8:00 pm
Where:  4364 US HWY 1, Vass
Your family will love this outdoor event complete with games, bounce house, food, and more!  Tickets are available HERE for a dinner plate that includes brats, sauerkraut, potato salad, roll, and bottled water.  You can also sign up for a 2-person corn hole tournament!

Harvest Festival
When:  Sunday, October 6th,  1:00pm-4:00pm
Where:  West End UMC, 4015 Hwy 73, West End
You are invited to the Harvest Festival at West End UMC, to enjoy an afternoon of Food Demos, Bounce House,  Live Music, Garden Tours, and a free food box giveaway (while supplies last).

Oktoberfest at Red's
When:  October 12th, 11:00am - 8:00pm
Where:  Red's Corner, Southern Pines
Put on your best lederhosen and enjoy beer specials, Signature Pint Glasses, and German food from Pinewurst food truck at the Octoberfest celebration at Red's Corner. Costume contest at 1pm and stein holding contest at 4pm.  

Oktoberfest Celebration
When:  October 12th, 12:00pm
Where:  Railhouse Brewery, 105 E South Street, Aberdeen
Enjoy brats, food, music, and all the traditional Oktoberfest games! The Fayetteville Bavarian Brass Band will be playing live from 2-5pm. Sign up for games starts at noon and the contests start at 2pm. Games include:  Masskrugstemmen Stein/ Mug-Holding Contest,  Stein/ Mug Carrying Race ,  Pretzel Eating Contest,  and Hammerschlagen Nail-Driving Feats of Skill. 

Fall Carnival at Dunrovin
When:   October 12th & 13th, 12:00pm-7:00pm
 Where:  5456 US 1, Vass 
Kids will love the the Fall Carnival at Dunrovin Exotic Animal Sanctuary! Enjoy games, animal encounters, and more!  Entry to the Sanctuary is free, games and events will require tickets.  All proceeds will support the care of the many furry friends at Dunrovin. 

The Haunted Forest at Sycamore Lodge
When:  Saturdays - October 12th, 19th,  26th, 7:00pm-11:00pm
Where:  1059 Sycamore Lane, Jackson Springs
This fun event for the whole family will take you on a walk through the forest at Sycamore Lodge. Haunted houses, cemeteries, and other fun things will be found along the way! Entry is $10 per person and proceeds benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Pawtoberfest 
When:  October 13th, 1:00pm - 5:00pm
Where:  Red's Corner, Southern Pines
Head to Red's for an event with Caring Hearts for Canine's and Lending Paws a Hand!  Red's will have Oktoberfest beers on tap, PINEWURST food truck will be there serving up all and everything you could hope for in German food! They will also have a pup "beer" drinking contest and a costume contest for pets and humans! 

Pumpkin Decorating Party
When:  Friday, October 18th, 5:30pm-8:30pm
Where:  My Gym Sandhills, 262A Pinehurst Avenue, Southern Pines
Kids ages 3-10 can enjoy an evening of games, spooky stories, pizza, and decorating pumpkins. Make sure to schedule your kiddo's time slot so you and your boo can have a night out! 

Downtown Candy Crawl & Movie by the Lake
When:  Friday, October 18th, 4:00pm-6:00 pm
Where:  Downtown Aberdeen
Explore participating downtown businesses from 4-6pm for delicious treats and special surprises. This sweet event is perfect for families, friends, and anyone who loves a good candy haul! After, head over to Aberdeen Lake Park for the 7pm showing of "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire."

Downtown Southern Pines Trick-or-Treating and Boofest
When:  Friday, October 18th, 5:00pm-6:45pm
Where:  Downtown Southern Pines
Ages 12 and under are invited to trick-or-treat at the local downtown businesses in Southern Pines at 5 pm, then head to Downtown Park at 5:30 pm for Halloween-themed games, crafts, activities, and the best dog costume raffle.  All children must be accompanied by a guardian.

Autumn Market at Kalawi Farm
When:  Saturday, October 19th, 10:00am-2:00pm
Where:  1515 NC Hwy 211, Eagle Springs
It's going to be a fun day on the farm with food, music, local artists and vendors, PLUS lots of Farm Fall Activities!   

Customer Appreciation Day at Karefree Produce
When:  Saturday, October 19th, 9:00am-3:00pm
Where:  4680 US HWY 15/501, Carthage 
Head to Karefree Produce for a day full of fun for everyone! There will be games, a bounce house, a special kid's area, craft vendors,  music, hot dogs, pumpkins and mums. The holiday menu will be out and there will be  food for sampling!

Fall-O-Ween
When:  Saturday, October 26th, 11:00am- 2:00pm
Where:  Malcolm Blue Farm
Grab the kiddos and head down to Malcolm Blue Farm for fun carnival games, inflatables, pony rides, a climbing wall, and more! There will be food/treat vendors on site. Costumes are encouraged. This event is for children ages 15 and under. Admission: $5 for ages 2-15, all others free.

Fall Festival
When:  Saturday October 26th, 12:00pm-5pm
Where:  Old Hardware Vintage Depot & Dewberry Cafe, 485 Carthage St, Cameron
Get in the mood for Halloween with trunk or treat from 3-5 pm, pumpkin carving, costume contest, face painting, hayride, and live music.

Meet and Treat
When:  Saturday, October 26th, 5:00-9:00pm
Where:  Twigg & Co., 206 N Sandhills Boulevard, Aberdeen 
Kids and adults are invited to wear your costumes for this fun shopping event.  Your favorite vendors will be handing out goodies, and there will be Live Music, an Outdoor Market, Drink Specials, and One Night Only Sales! They will also have a costume contest with $100 going to the adult with the best costume and a special treat basket for the kids costume winner.  

Halloween Market Fun 
When:  Saturday, October 26th , 10:00am-6:00pm
Where:  Vass Farmers Market, Sandy Ramey Keith Memorial Park
In addition to vendors, crafts, and food trucks, the market will be have pumpkin carving, face painting, and other special events. 

 Festival D'Avion

Where:  Moore County Airport, 7825 Aviation Dr, Carthage
The Festival D’Avion offers a unique collection of special events/activities, displays/exhibits, entertainment and food and beverage options for the entire family to enjoy. Village of Pinehurst Oktoberfest
When:  Saturday, October 26th, 4:00pm-9:00pm
Where:  Tufts Memorial Park, Village of Pinehurst 
Kick off a fun afternoon with Kinderfest from 4:00pm-6:00pm. This will feature a fun family festival with crafts and a Halloween costume show-off. NEW this year-- participating shops in the Village will offer trick-or treating during Kinderfest! Traditional Oktoberfest activities will follow with German music for all to enjoy. Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the day. Outside beverages are not permitted; however, outside picnic baskets are allowed. 

Trick-or Treat Trail
When:  Sunday, October 27th, 2:00pm-4:00pm
Where:  Weymouth Woods-Sandhills Nature Preserve
Come in costume and enjoy a family-friendly (non-scary) Halloween-themed nature trail, learn about the "spooky" critters of Weymouth Woods, and get some treats along the way. *Want to beat the crowd? Halloween Party- A Night of Frights & Insights
